1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email, phone number, delivery address, and payment information when you create an account or make a purchase. We also automatically collect device information, IP address, browser type, and browsing behavior through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process orders, manage your account, provide customer support, send order updates and promotional communications (with your consent), improve our services, and ensure platform security. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our platform, including payment processors, shipping carriers, and analytics services. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data for the specific services they provide to us.
5. BlueBaskit Merchant Mobile App
Our Android app, BlueBaskit Merchant, is for store owners and staff and handles data as follows. Notifications: when you allow them, Firebase Cloud Messaging issues your device a token that we store so we can alert you about new orders; revoking the notification permission or signing out removes it. Camera: used only to scan product barcodes at the point of sale. Scanning happens entirely on your device, and no image is uploaded, stored or transmitted. Photos: images you choose from your gallery are uploaded only to be attached to your products and storefront. Location: if you tap 'use my current location' while adding a delivery pickup address, the app asks for permission and reads your device's precise location once to fill in your shop's coordinates, which are stored with that address so delivery carriers can find you. This is optional — you can place the pin on the map yourself instead — and location is never accessed in the background or used for any other purpose. On your device: your sign-in tokens are kept in the Android Keystore and are erased when you sign out. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect your contacts.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure payment processing, and regular security audits to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. You may also opt out of promotional communications by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
8. Deleting Your Account and Data
You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time, from the web or from inside the BlueBaskit Merchant app, at https://bluebaskit.io/en/delete-account. We remove your profile, your store and its products, categories, banners, coupons, media and notification tokens. Order and payment records are retained for up to seven years where accounting and tax law requires it, and are then deleted; those records are kept only for that purpose and are not used for anything else. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
